Waste paper management, also known as paper recycling, is the process of collecting, sorting, and processing used paper materials to produce new paper products. It is an important aspect of waste management and environmental conservation. It is an integral part of broader efforts to promote sustainability and responsible resource management. At Maitreyi College, we encourage the use of electronic documents, double-sided printing, and other practices that reduce paper consumption in the first place. Maitreyi College receives new printing paper in exchange for sending waste paper to recycling services. The college has signed an MoU with “Jaagruti” Waste Paper Recycling Services which recycles the waste paper.
